DAYTONA 300 Preview!

The Cup Series now travels to the Daytona International Speedway for the 2nd points race of the season on February 13th.  This is very long, 120 lap event, which will require patience and a knack for staying out of trouble to see victory lane.  It's one of the most prestigious races on the 24 race schedule, and past champions include Del Oliver, Nim Cross, Chris Blalock, and Bill Schneider.

Schneider will certainly be a favorite agarin this year, along with series champ Eric Brundies.  Current points leader Bill Fuller will be looking to keep the top spot in the standings with a good run.

This is the first year the drivers will see the new Daytona TR version layout of the track.  Drivers in testing have reported tremendous grip on the upper groove, leading many to believe that the two-wide racing will be better than ever this year!
